Expungements
Juvenile Expungements must comply with the Rules of Juvenile Court Procedures 170 and 172; (the rules can be reviewed in Chapter 1, Section 170 and Chapter 1, Section 172). Additional information regarding juvenile delinquency records and expungement can be found in the Juvenile Delinquency Record Handbook and Expungement Guide.
Individuals or Attorneys seeking expungement of a juvenile record should contact the Office of Juvenile Probation to affirm eligibility, obtain a Verification Form indicating the completion of Court mandates, and a Pennsylvania State Police background record check may also be required. Expungements will utilize the Expungement Motion and Expungement Order forms below, and be filed with the Clerk of Courts office (note; there is a $36.75 filing fee). Please direct any other questions regarding juvenile expungements to the Office of Juvenile Probation.
